When storms move in to our community we move into action. We will open the doors to our church basement to anyone in our community that needs a safe place to weather the storms. A warm place, a cup of coffee, and the spirit of neighborhood is offered to all of our community.
In the event of long term emergency we have individuals in our church family that have been trained by the American Red Cross to meet emergency needs. We have a cooperative agreement with our local Hazelgreen Fire Department as well as with the Phelps-Pulaski American Red Cross to provide for the needs of our neighbors.
While meeting the physical needs for shelter, we are also available to help with emotional and spiritual needs of our neighbors as well. If someone has need for prayer or biblical council we are always ready to step in when asked.
